In fr. 837, authorship is rarely referred to in the paratext. However, Rutebeuf\u2019s collection of texts is introduced by the rubric: \u2018Ci commencent li dit Rustebuef&#8217; [\u2018Here begin the works of Rutebeuf\u2019].
